How Does Acupuncture Work?
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is based on the theory that the free flow of Qi (a vital life force) supports health. Acupuncture accesses the Qi to bring the body back to normal functioning (homeostasis) from abnormal functioning (sickness). Based on this time-tested theory, acupuncture taps into the body’s own healing power to bring health to patients. Therefore, whether you have a chronic condition, or you just feel something is wrong but all the lab work shows up normal, you can benefit from acupuncture treatments.
