Chinese Herbal Medicine. Chinese herbal medicine is practiced in conjunction with acupuncture, or on its own. Acupuncture Associates of Raleigh has an extensive natural Chinese herbal pharmacy with hundreds of herbs of the highest quality. Herbal prescriptions are individualized to target each patient's unique underlying patterns that cause the disease in the first place. Our goal is to inform people on what acupuncture is, how it works, how it treats disease, what to expect during a treatment, how to pick a qualified practioner, and to answer any questions people have. Acupuncture Associates of Raleigh has given numerous presentations at senior centers, hospitals, support groups and public schools. Currently, we are offering a lecture on Acupuncture and Chinese medicine applied to feed your senses and live well at North Regional Library (7009 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh 919-870-4700).
